This Leather Jerkin is very fine and well made. I don't know if it's made of genuine leather, but it feels a lot like it and the surface looks like the finest glove leather. The inner lining is also well sewn to the top and still soft and supple. The buttonholes can really be used, but you should use this small wire loop tool from DID, because the buttons are really small. Over all a very nice leather vest that is worth its money.
